Cause and Effect: Getting Pounded

Today I visited a bunch of my favorite MMA blogs and news sites. I came across these pictures from the fight between my boy, Cain Velasquez, and Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva at UFC 146 (May 26, 2012).

I like these photo because they pretty much summarize the fight. It was a one-sided match up between the former Heavyweight champ, Cain, and an untested replacement, Bigfoot, that took the place of Frank Mir in the fight.

So yes, the first picture is the “cause,” and the second picture (blood-included) is the effect. Enjoy the pounding.

Man, Cain looked scary in that fight. Can’t wait to see the rematch with him and Junior!

Yeah, Cain came out to kill Bigfoot that night. He wanted the ref to call the fight early on, but the ref made Bigfoot go through a lot of extra pain before he called the TKO. JDS vs Cain 2 should be good.
